Nason Moretti Factory, Venice - Friday, June 17th, 2011
Through the consideration of our senses, David Palterer and Nason Moretti emphasizes the relationship between users and their environment.
David Palterer spoke about redesigning the shape of the glass so to evoke an experience similar to a kiss. He accomplishes this with Vasenobjek. By rounding the bottom of the glass and pinching the centre, it causes the wine to bubble slightly and compels the user to pucker their lips as the drink out of the glass.
Glass is an exquisite material that lends itself to many experimentation. Nason Moretti uses colour to change perception. Playing on the importance of visual colour hues in the experience of consuming wine the product line, Burlesque, is deliberately tinted.
